Maintenance Technician | First Shift | Covington, KY
We’re seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support general property maintenance across our recently developed apartment communities in Covington, KY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general handyman skills who enjoys variety in their work, can troubleshoot issues, and wants to be part of a company that is rapidly growing.
Responsibilities:
- General maintenance & repairs (basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC basics)
- Unit turns: patch painting, small repairs, and ensuring units are move-in ready
- Punch-list work on newly completed units
- Emergency maintenance coverage (rotating weekends)
- Light carpentry and general building repairs
- Lawn care, landscaping support, and snow removal
- Lock changes and basic door hardware installation
- Interacting with residents in a professional, friendly manner
- Coordinating closely with the Property Manager
- Supporting upkeep of newly developed and renovated apartment communities
Qualifications:
- General handyman or maintenance experience (apartment or residential preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair typical residential maintenance issues
- Reliable transportation & personal tool set
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks on schedule
Schedule:
9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay:
$21-26/hr Paid Weekly
